soon...

is to have good old friends around you...

im blessed to have them... since college days, we still have each other...

we may seldom see each other but during times like this (this night is when we pay visit to the wake of flor's mom) we all knew we have each other.. gaano man ka-busy ang lahat, we'll sure take our time off para magkasama sama..

i guess that's what really friendship is all about...

LONG WEEKEND

It was a long weekend. 5 days of vacation still doesn't seem to be enough for  a "real" vacation. Bitin pa rin! Though it was enjoyable.. spent time with people whom I wanted to really spend time with...

Maundy Thursday with Rye and Marlo's Family.. Ate Marla, Bunso and Tita Mirla...
at Bataan Peninsula.

After the swimming trip, we go straight to the cemetery to spend time with Marlo...

Also spent time with Daddy and my cousins on weekend. Also had a bonding moment with my dad on our way to my cousin's house. It's just once that I could have this time to be with them and I really, really treasured the moment...

Miss them all...

The day I arrived in Manila from Dumaguete, I was informed that I'm going to Roxas, Capiz, and Aklan. First thing that came to mind: BORACAY!!!!

And here's some chronology of what happened...

- Arrived in Roxas and was fetched by the Hon. Vice-Mayor Dadivas, whom I used to call as Sir Ronnie, not knowing that he was the Vice-Mayor of the City. It was just that moment at Dumaguete Airport when I learned about it. Kakahiya. But he was so cool.. bait! We headed to his house for a SUMPTUOUS breakfast. Then he asked his driver to head me off at Ivisan City, the first town of Capiz City where I will conduct my first training.

- After the Ivisan training, I head off to Mambusao City, also another town of Capiz to conduct my second training. Right after that is my 1 1/2 bus ride to Kalibo. It was in Kalibo where we spent the night in preparation to the last remaining training on the next day.

- As early as 7am the next day, I'm already off for Estancia City and Makato in Kalibo for my last two training. Im doing a double time work here for me to get to Caticlan earlier than as planned. Kasi excited na sa BORA!

- Found ourselves in ferryboat to Boracay as early as 2pm. My first Boracay experience for the year...(does this mean there's a big possiblity of going back??)

a blissfull moment on the beach...

a spectacular sunset... with rhedd..

My third day in Dumaguete was my "laboy day" together with Minnie and Erika who came over all the way from Bohol and Bacolod. I conducted one training in the morning and the rest of the afternoon was our exploration of the city...

Dumaguete Airport... going back to Manila

... and i loved the City.

I'm still here at Dumaguete and yes.. still all alone.

this captivating sight amazes me. while inside the plane at 6:30am...

Arrived here yesterday at around 7:45 in the morning, with no place to stay yet. At the airport lobby, there's a kinda tourism booth that's full of brochures and fliers about Negros Oriental. I checked upon it and looked for a nice hotel in the city. I found one. Well, actually there's a lo
t of nice and good hotels. But considering the budget alloted for this 3-day training, i have to look for a not-so-expensive but a good one. One of the requirements that I need: a wi-fi connection. And as soon as I saw on one of the fliers with a bold letter: WI-FI HOT SPOT, I grabbed on it and after getting my baggages, I asked the tricycle service (yup.. TRICYCLE. It's their means of public transpo here.. and cheaper than renting a car.. MUCH MUCH CHEAPER!) to get me to HOTEL PALWA.

Hotel Palwa is good.. with friendly and accommodating staffs. Clean and well-maintained room.. and comes with a FREE BREAKFAST!

And the training:

DAY 1: MABINAY, NEGROS ORIENTAL.
Located, on the northern part of Negros Oriental. 85km from Dumaguete City. And my transpo: their public non-aircon bus! Yup yup! Imagine yung tigas ng buhok ko na di masuklay dahil sa hangin??? I have no choice anyway.. its the only way to get there. And I couldn't afford to rent a car kasi sobrang mahal! Started my trip at 10am. Its a 3-4 hours of landtrip. At di biro biro ang byahe kasi we have to cross mountain after mountain. Its actually 3 or 4 towns away from Bacolod City. Nakakatakot lalo na pag nasa cliff ka na ng bundok. I couldn't sleep either. Pano ka naman makakatulog sa non-aircon bus tapos siksikan pa?

But in fairness, the moment I arrived at Petron Station there, the dealers are so accommodating. They know I have been through a long land trip kaya kahit papano pinakain naman nila ako. And they are easy to train. Madali nilang naintindihan yung tinuro ko. Actually, my travel is longer than that of my training.

Back to Dumaguete was another 3 hours travel. I'm in Dumaguete at around 7pm.

DAY 2:
Station 1: DAUIN, NEGROS ORIENTAL
Station 2: TABUC TUBIG, DMAGUETE CITY
Station 3: BANAWAN, NEGROS ORIENTAL

Stations 1 & 2 are just near the city. Dauin is around 15km away while Tabuc Tubig is just inside the City. There's no problem whatsoever that I have encountered in training these stations. Banawan, on the other hand is just the same as Mabinay. 75km away from Dumaguete but the land travel is more comfortable than that of Mabinay. Because the roads are straight, walang zigzag and we didn't passed by any mountain cliff.. Sa gilid gilid lang ng bundok. What we passed by was the Sulu Sea, which made my sight seeing more enjoyable. Feeling ko nga mas nabilis ang byahe.. coz I was able to get back at Dumaguete City by 5pm.. considering I already have 2 stations trained prior to this.

After the training, I headed here at the hotel to rest. Pero di ako mapakali.. I thought of going around to explore the area. Ok naman. Aliw. I went over the "Boulevard". Parang baywalk version sa Manila. Cool! Dadalin ko sila Minnie and Erika dun bukas..

Yup, Erika and Minnie will be here tomrw.. and we'll gonna make Sunday our laboy day. :-)

We're planning to have the Apo Island Adventure... we'll see..

yan muna for now... have to rest for tomrw...

ciao!!!

EXCITED!!

Just booked my flight to Dumaguete. Nakakabadtrip tumawag sa PAL. First, 48 years before an operator attends to your call, pero syempre magtyatyaga akong maghintay kasi "sayang ang miles". Tapos, unfortunately, walang straight flight ang PAL ng Manila-Dumaguete!!! Ending up, i'll fly via Air Philippines!! na wala ring miles!!!!!!!! Damn!!!!

Pero anyway, now that im already booked, mas excited na ko ngayon!!! It will be my first time in Dumaguete and it will all be on my own... until Sunday when Minnie and Eka will follow and then im pretty sure... ubos na naman ang 1gb memory card ko sa pictures!!!!

Will be back on Monday!!!!

change of plans...

im still up for Bataan training this thursday..

but the La Union and Baguio Trip was moved to another week, because...

DUMAGUETE... here I come!!!

cant wait for APO Island and Siquijor!!!

recents...

Been busy with Petron training lately (well actually until the end of May). I’ve been out of the office most of the time and yeah, im kinda loving it. For the past couple of days, right after the Vigan trip, I found myself wandering around Makati and Pasay City, hopping from one Petron station to another. This weekend, I rove around the area of Laguna – San Pedro, Biñan, Cabuyao and Canlubang. And what I am looking forward to are the successive out of town trips scheduled – Bataan, La Union, Baguio, Quezon, Isabela, Batangas, Romblon (which in turn would end to Boracay!!) and Davao. So, for those who want to be tagged along (yup… free transpo and accommodation) just let me know…*wink*

--------

This weekend also, was another day spent with marlo. Syempre kami pa rin ang magkakasama. It’s a really different peaceful feeling whenever we are at the cemetery, kwentuhan lang, all knowing the he’s just with us.

And, we’re spending the upcoming holy week vacation with him…with his mom and the rest of the family.
